iTotal® G2 The first knee replacement that fits only one knee. YOURS.

No two knees are the same. No two iTotals are either.

The iTotal G2 is your implant. It's made based on the shape of your knee, nobody else's.

Our products aren't manufactured in bulk and pulled off a shelf prior to your surgery. Our products are made for you, when you need it, and won't fit anybody else.

Our unqiue patient-specific implants designed to achieve advantages not possible with off-the-shelf knee implants, including:

  • Designed to mimic the shape of your natural knee
  • Patient-matched size and shape, eliminating sizing compromises that could result in potentially painful implant overhang or underhang
  • More bone preservation than traditional total knee replacements

We can do this – where nobody else can – because of our iFit® image-to-implant™ technology. iFit converts a CT scan of your knee to a 3D model, and we use that model to design your implant and all of the surgical instrumentation that is unique to you.

We create one implant for one knee – there's nothing "off-the-shelf" about it.

Personalized every step of the way

Not only do ConforMIS personalized knee replacement systems give you an implant made just for you, but the iJig® instrumentation that a surgeon uses during the procedure are also personalized. This means that every implant comes with personalized instruments designed to ensure a precise fit.

iJigs are individualized based on the same CT scan data used to make the implant. The benefit of personalized instruments is that they simplify the surgery overall because all of the adjustments for your particular shape and size have been accounted for before the surgery even begins.

With off-the-shelf implants, certain instruments can be personalized, but not all, and that means the surgeon must make adjustment decisions during the procedure while you are under anesthesia.

In the operating room less is more

Off-the-shelf knee replacement surgeries require 8-12 trays of specialized instrumentation and an extensive implant inventory. All of this "stuff" requires management, sterilization and overhead.

The iTotal G2 is made to order. Everything is delivered in a single, pre-sterilized kit a few days before surgery. This makes the process easier for the hospital staff and reduces the need for hospital inventory and re-sterilization.

The iTotal G2 Knee Replacement System (KRS) is intended for use as a total knee replacement in patients with knee joint pain and disability whose conditions cannot be solely addressed by the use of a prosthetic device that treats only one or two of the three compartments. Only a licensed physician can help you determine the appropriate medical treatment. There are potential risks to knee replacement surgery, and individual results may vary. Before making any decisions concerning medical treatment, consult your physician regarding your options and the risks of those options. The longevity, performance and feel of any knee implant will depend on various factors, including your physical condition, your activity level, adherence to your physician's instructions, and other factors.
