By starting with high resolution imaging data, we create implants and instrumentation designed to achieve precise anatomic fit, preserve bone and cartilage, minimize surgical trauma and scarring, and simplify surgical technique.

ConforMIS transforms traditional imaging data into patient-specific implants and instrumentation employing two related “image-to-implant” technology platforms. Both technology platforms are supported by proprietary, intellectual property consisting of more than 250 issued patents and pending patent applications.

• iFit Technology (click for more) converts scan data into implants that are precisely sized and shaped to conform to the unique 3D topography of an individual joint.
• iJig Instrumentation (click for more) utilizes the same data to create disposable cut and placement guides that simplify the surgical technique, improve reproducibility, and create efficiencies for the hospital.
