Dr. Kurtz is a board certified orthopedic surgeon in Nashville, Tn who specializes in the primary and revision joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee joints. He has received fellowship training specifically in hip and knee replacements. He has three patents regarding hip replacements and continues to design techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Kurtz is a native of Houston, Texas. He is married to Emily Graham Kurtz, a Tullahoma native, and the director of preventive cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They are proud parents of three children and a dog. They have lived in Nashville since 2000 and attend Westminster Presbyterian Church.
