What are the Conformis Outpatient Centers for Excellence?
We know that surgeons are constantly looking to continue their education to provide the best care possible for their patients. Our Medical Education department coordinates the Surgeon Visitation Program and our National Training Labs, which allow surgeons to network with and learn from their peers. Recently, we announced that two of our surgeons who perform total knee replacements on an outpatient basis have signed up to host visiting surgeons interested in learning about the process. We have dubbed these our Outpatient Centers for Excellence.
Surgeons interested in visiting Dr. Derek Johnson in Colorado will be able to scrub into cases, as well as observe physical therapy and discharge practices. Surgeons might want to bring a nurse or two from their own center to learn from Crown Point staff!
Crown Point Surgery Center is a free-standing ambulatory surgery center located on the campus of Parker Adventist Hospital. It is an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International, partnered with local physicians, and accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
Surgeons interested in visiting Dr. Greg Martin in Delray Beach, Florida can schedule a facility tour, meet with key staff members, and review pre-op and post-op protocols. They will scrub into 2-3 surgeries, have lunch with Dr. Martin, and watch as those early patients are discharged same day.
Delray Beach Surgical Suites is a physician-owned, Florida state licensed, JCAHO accredited out-patient surgical facility established in 2017.
