Dr. Mines trained at a nationally recognized and respected Medical School and Internship/Residency Programs in New York City. His final year of training was spent as the Chief Resident. Dr. Mines feels he was exposed to and taught by some of the best Orthopaedic Surgeons in the United States as well as globally. Dr. Mines has been Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery for the past decade and remains involved in the local, regional, and national orthopedic community. He is an Active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and frequently participates in national educational events.

Dr. Mines is an involved member of our local community. He and his family live only minutes from Eastside Medical Center as well as his practice in Snellville. He has a great family. His lovely wife Liz also works at Eastside Orthocare to support our mission to provide the best orthopaedic care anywhere. Dr. Mines and Liz have three boys who attend our local schools. Dr. Mines has been the volunteer team physician for student/athletes at South Gwinnett High School for the past 5 years and can often be found on the sidelines on Friday nights. He also volunteers to provide pre-participation physicals for youth in our community who participate in our local youth sport leagues.

Dr. Mines enjoys and is proficient in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery. He performs all Joint Replacement Procedures including Revision Joint Replacements. He is well versed with the most modern joint replacement systems and procedures. He is available for the treatment of all fracture, whether Pediatric, Adult or Geriatric, and he utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Mines truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in achieving excellent surgical outcomes.
