“I decided to become an orthopaedic surgeon because it would allow me to help people of all ages overcome their injuries and/or dysfunction. I also liked the many challenges that orthopaedic surgery presents.

Each patient I see has unique needs, and every step of the treatment process — from initial diagnosis and treatment planning to surgery and rehabilitation — is very interesting and rewarding to me. Helping patients return to the quality of life they enjoy is both a daily goal and a lasting commitment of mine.

Obviously, orthopaedic surgery is new to the majority of my patients, so I take the time to explain their condition and treatment options in simple terms they will understand. My patients appreciate this level of informative care and the friendliness and empathy that go with it.”

In his free time, Dr. Rodney Miller likes to spend time with his wife and their two children. He is the team doctor for West Holmes High School’s football team, plus he coaches youth soccer. Dr. Miller enjoys biking, jogging and golf.
