Lynn Paparella - Osteoarthritis and Knee Replacement Surgery
Lynn had struggled with osteoarthritis in her right knee for years, and was constantly finding new ways to “deal with it”. When it began to affect her mood and activity level so much she couldn’t cross-country ski, hike or even walk up stairs, she knew it was time for knee replacement. She spoke with her friend and surgeon Dr. Bryan Huber about a Conformis custom-made total knee replacement, and was scheduled for surgery.
After surgery, Lynn is back to her busy life! We recently had the opportunity to follow Lynn as she set up for an outdoor summer concert with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, introduced the performers, and went on a hike with her dog the next morning! Click the gallery below to follow a day in the life of active Conformis patient Lynn Paparella and her osteoarthritis knee replacement recovery.
