Richard Buch, MD

Dr. Richard G. Buch graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 and performed his internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He then completed fellowships in orthopaedic oncology at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Medical Center.

Conformis technology allows for reduced occurrence of knee joint instability, commonly found in off-the-shelf implants. “We want to have a knee that matches your knee – it just makes common sense.”

Dr. Buch has performed thousands of primary and revision joint replacement surgeries using only the most advanced implants available. In addition, he is actively engaged in bone and joint investigative studies, as well as researching and writing numerous reports that have been widely published in medical and orthopaedic journals. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dallas County Medical Society, Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, American College of Surgeons and the Texas Medical Association.
